There have been 19 additional mass shootings in the United States since 21 people — mostly children — were killed in Uvalde, Texas on May 24th. This newsletter edition, our team wanted to take some time to listen, think and talk about the problem of gun violence plaguing the United States.

Just last week, more than 1,000 scientists from over 25 countries took to the streets around the world, risking arrest and abuse in week-long climate protests.

How can businesses and business professionals best work toward making the world a better place? This was one of the biggest questions I sought to answer when I founded +Media. 

As we close out Black History Month and enter Women’s History Month, I’m grateful to see how leaders around the world are elevating stories and celebrating the important contributions made by women and the Black community. 

Working in the social impact space for over twenty years has brought me great joy, but also a good amount of frustration. Access to the most effective, efficient solutions—whether nonprofit or private equity investments—was only available to individuals, foundations, institutions with connections or capital… and most often both.
